The verbal derivatives with the formant -ęga in the function of the subjects of the activities, processes and states in the Polish dialects

Summary/Abstract: Władysław Cyran in his book „Tendencje słowotwórcze w gwarach polskich” [The Wordformation Tendencies in Polish Dialects], edited in 1977, presented some formations with formant -ęga (30 derivatives). In the present article the author completes the list of such formations (their whole number amounts to 80), and chooses from them the verbal derivatives in the function of the subjects of the activities, processes and states (38 derivatives). The author presents their word-building interpretation, shows their geographical localization and the frequency of their occurrence.
