ASTRAL MOTIVES AT OUR NATIONAL ORNAMENTS

Summary/Abstract: Astral motives take a particular place of the very reach expre-ssions in our art. They differ for the melange of ornaments, skillfulness and inspiration about the way they are executed. The motive odd Sun is to be distinguished which is concepted and aplicd mainly through geometric motives, through the motives of flora and zoomorf are not missing much. At ethnological evidences, astral motives appear, in a simple up to those complicated in apes at cultural matinial residences, for ex. at dressing, different works at textile, stone carving, wood carving, metal, tattoo etc. Confrontation of different astral motives given by the ethnology evidences to those archeologic and ancient authors, enable us to think that we have to deal with continuousity of there motives since Illy-rians, in medieval, up to new days.
