Summary/Abstract: Considering the different motive limits that our people inherited from the past, the motive of snake covers a wide range (area). We can meet this motive almost everywere: clothing, textile, wood and stone carving, on metal etc. Except for plastic spiral, meander and wavoy shaper, we can also trace this motive at primitive forms of folk and geometric art, presented with zig - zag and broken lines. The first material evidences where we can met the motive of snake belong to the early periods, in other words to neologism. This motive has been continuously used up to now. It can be noticed early at different projects and particularly at wooden - projects, where this motive was more stressed. Though for snake presentation on wood different techniques were used, the full snake modeling with carving, had longer use.
