The space and area in Polish language

Summary/Abstract: There is no difficulty in distinguishing the terms space and area in professional Polish. However, in common language and literary style these terms are mixed. The article shows examples of their usage in different than lexical meaning, their interchangeability in different contexts and attribution of new semantic values in some phrases.
