Summary/Abstract: For several decades the human embryo is in actuality of contemporary interdisciplinary discussions, involving medicine, bioethics, ethics, philosophy, moral philosophy and Christian theology. Medical sciences’s enhancement expansion and particularly the discussion of biotechnology has brought in the center the right to life before birth. By legalization of abortion, the right to intrauterine life is approached reff ering to forms of embryonic humanity much disputed among philosophers, physicians, moralists and theologians. Obviously, the key of the problem lies in determining the status of human being that the human embryo has from the conception until death.
