The Sacrificial Aspect in the Redeeming Work of Christ, in Relation to the Divine Eucharist

Summary/Abstract: The episcopal ministry of Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God, consists of Self Sacrifi ce, of the suff erings endured by Him during His earthly lifetime, from the incarnation up to the death on the Cross. The purpose of His Sacrifi ce was that all the people in any times and places remove the guilt and doom and restore the communion with God. Thus, through the Incarnation of His Son, God, in His wisdom, reconciled justice and love, by the decision of off ering people the possibility of salvation and of acquiring the eternal life.
