Summary/Abstract: The mysterious author of the areopagitics treaties offers one of the most interesting patristic testimonies of the early Christian centuries about church life and the role of Divine Liturgy in Christian communities, especially that his entire work has an emphasized liturgical character. In this article we will try to present the purpose of the liturgy and its main stages, as were those understood by St. Dionysius.
