Critical Reflection of Non-traditional Theatre during Normalization Period (or What is Theatre’s Memory and Where can It be Found?)

Summary/Abstract: This historical study focuses on the critical reflection of non-traditional theatre during the so-called normalization period. It describes the specific position of drama production which was often on the verge of the mainstream, the so-called grey zone and theatre underground, and maps publication opportunities in professional and regional press, as well as in internal and samizdat periodicals. It also deals with the issue of source interpretation, referring to an example of several plays staged by Studio Forum, a theatre in Olomouc.
