Summary/Abstract: Sándor Weöres wrote The Double-Headed Monster in 1972 for the request of the Pécs Theatre. The production was censored, after this Weöres gave up writing plays. Tüskés’s study is about the vicittitudes of the play’s life and about the literary-political conditions of the era.
