Summary/Abstract: Tibor Tüskés, the one-time editor-in-chief of Jelenkor was removed partly for publishing Mészöly’s play called Az ablakmosó (The window-cleaner) by the communist cultural policy in 1963. Tüskés publishes the relevant pieces of his correspondence with Miklós Mészöly accompanied by a short introduction and plenty of commentaries.
