Summary/Abstract: In the paper the author deals with analysis of historical text Zatraceňja a Spaseňja (1846) concerning on the analyses of conjunctions a a že present in this text. The period characterization of conjunctions is based on work by Ľudovít Štúr Náuka reči slovenskej (1846). The occurrence and function of these conjunctions is compared with contemporary definition, comprehension and position in texts.
