THE ALTERNATION ‹L ~O› IN THE SERBIAN AND CROATIAN SUBSTANTIVAL PARADIGMATICS IN A COMPARATIVE ASPECT

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article are the genesis, the morphonological transposition and the operation of the alternation ‹l~o› in Serbian and Croatian substantival paradigmacy. The introducing of clear formal-structural criteria in the morphonological description aims to achieve more adequate synchronical description and the comparison of the alternation in the two language standards.
