THE EQUITABLE HEALTH OF THE GLOBALIZATION: RIGHTS AND RULES

Summary/Abstract: In general, the globalization owns a considerable potential for improving human health and at the same time presents many challenges. The basis or the key-challenge is to understand the method in which globalization affects people’s access to the social determinant factors of health (SDH) and how this entry is distributed taking in consideration a direct relation with the capital. Globalization affects health and the social determinant factors of health through changes in the social stratification, of differentiated exposure or the health system’s characteristics vulnerability and the consequences that differentiate them. These changes appear due to the effects of globalization on power, resources, labor market, politics’ environment, commerce, financial flows (including financial support and the service of responsibility/ annulment), health systems, alimentary safety and access to essential medicines.
