The jurisdiction in actions regarding the maintanance obligations

Summary/Abstract: The present study aims to realise a detailed analysis of the jurisdictional system established by Regulation no. 4/2009, whose purpose is to determine the courts of the European Union’s member states having the jurisdiction to solve the requests based on maintainance obligations arising from family, affiliation, marriage or alliance legal connections. In this matter, the jurisdiction has as legal background the jurisdiction rules which can be concluded by the parties of the legal obligations.
