Summary/Abstract: This article tackles the issue of multilingualism as a teaching practice and the tendencies of its application in multilingual societies. In order to preserve the language wealth of the European peoples and to be able to live in multicultural and multilingual Europe we must cope with the challenge to learn several foreign languages.
