The Mission of the Church – a Liturgy after the Liturgy

Summary/Abstract: The mission of the Church in and for the world is accomplished both by the sacramental priesthood, and by that of the lay people, who become members of the Mystical Body of Christ through participation in the Holy Mysteries and communion with the Eucharistic Christ. They are therefore changed, they become bearers of Christ and of the Holy Spirit, and they are called to bear witness in the world for Christ and His eternal Kingdom.
