Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of the indicator of financial liquidity and turnover in industrial enterprises from food, metal and electrical engineering industries. The study inc¬ludes 36 manufacturing companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in and covers the period 2004-2008. Based on the survey it can be concluded that the highest rates of current and rapid liquidity is characteristic of companies in the food industry. In contrast, companies in the metal industry reached the highest rate of cash liquidity. In all the analyzed industries, the average receivable turnover is lower than the average rate of trading liabilities.
