“Misprints” and Sealed Delusions

Summary/Abstract: We have been accustomed to accept as normal the presence of spelling mistakes in translated books. The article shows that taken together these innocent spelling mistakes, abbreviations, blunders in illustrations, lack of subject indices and crippled bibliographies form a surprisingly harmonized system, which aims at the cultural segregation of Bulgarian intellectuals.
