Summary/Abstract: This paper brings new details about the trade between Transylvania and Republic of Venice in the XVI century, the author trying to prove that was made many exchanges between this two states in that period. There are many evidences about the exchanges made in special by the Venetians merchants, but there also Transylvanian and Levantines merchants involved in this. The exchanges was made on the way who ties the Transylvania with the center of the Europe, especially through Vienna and then to Venice. Through Transylvania was transited products from Venice to Moldavia and Wallachia and in the other way too. In Transylvania the Venetian products arrived not only direct from Venice but also from other cities from Poland or Vienna brought by the Transylvanian merchants. From Transylvania were exported especially owes, hides, beeswax, mercury and from Venice were brought textiles, product of glass, paper. Very helpfully are the registries of the custom office of various Transylvanian towns who registered the quantity of products transmitted between Venice and Transylvania, however cannot be done an exactly evaluation of the trade between this states.
