Summary/Abstract: Normality in the context of mental health has been variously defined, foe example: as the absence of disease, as the ideal state of mind, as the average level of functioning of an individual within the context of a total group, as a capacity to function autonomously and competently, as a subjective sence of contentment and satisfaction, and as an ability to adjust to ones social environment effectively. Maslow equated mental health with a process of self – actualization and exploration of the talents and potentials. This comprised ten components including, for example, acceptance of self and others and autonomy. The object of investigation is the accentuations and aggression of students of Kaunas College of Foresters and Engineering of Environment. The results after investigation are the follows: the strongest form of hostility is verbal aggression. Indirect aggression, statistical reliable, more displayed for students having accentuations of lability character. Indirect aggression more occured for students having accentuation of cyclical, distymical and stuck fit of passion character. The accentuations of lability, cyclical, distymical, stuck fit of passion can be preconditions of psychological hostility. The scope of this investigation bridges the fields of adult psychology allowing us to examine the continuities between mental health problems and risk factors in adolescence and later difficulties in adulthood, as well as understanding the internal sources of competence and vulnerability. So developmental psychopatology contributes a developmental perspective to the study of abnormal behavior. It is also concerned with the study of the prediction of the development of maladaptive behaviour process. The question is if those students are in the way leading them to adopt the stail of life that is aggressive or anxious or depressive.
