Summary/Abstract: Terminology of agronomy consists from a set of significances as a special department of agriculture. One part of the terms consisted in it, as derived units in the level of the word, belong to other fields of knowledge as well. Most part of it comprises the terms resulting as structures within the field, thus terminology of this field also, being built on foundation of Albanian language and word forming specimen of its entireness, makes it possible to respond better to the presented needs toward the terms in order to be more comprehensive, accurate, and motivating. The paths of constructing these terminologies are: 1) semantic path, 2) morphologic path, 3) syntax path and 4) borrowings and Albanization. Created units through semantic path come mainly from general language. As common words, they are part of basic lexicon of Alba-nian language, but being inserted in agronomy terminology, thus as terms, they comprise basic terminological lexis. One proportion of them are used in other knowledge terminologies and this contributes to having them generalizing power and to be interconnected in the system of terminology. As such, they are more motivating in the highest level. Morphologic path includes activation of the limited amount of prefixes and suffixes. In formation of this terminology were used all ways of word-formation in Albanian language. Particularly, recently became active and productive some Albanian like-prefixes, which served as substitute of borrowed like-prefixes in borrowed terms. The greatest part of terminology in agronomy comprises from consistent terminological togfjalëshat formed by syntax path giving it systematic and hierarchic character. They occur as effective tool with great easiness of formation for accomplishing terminological needs. A number of agronomic terms are borrowed, which can be either taken from other terminologies, or directly from agronomic termi-nology of other languages. Albanization of this terminology in general is done in the frame of an organized work for purification of national literary language. In this frame the work on unification, coordination and Albanization of the terminology which is done through compi-lation of terminological glossaries in different fields, based on certain criteria and principles. Analyzing of this terminology in educational texts of secondary and high agriculture schools, as well as in entire scientific and scientific-popular literature of this field gives a complete image of condition, level of development and inclinations noticed in it.
