Summary/Abstract: The author comments the case of the last year’s devastation of an art exhibition in Moscow, “Beware, Religion”, considered blasphemous. Meanwhile, the vandals have been freed and the organizers of the exhibition condemned as “instigators” to national and religious enmity. The “unholy alliance” refers to the alliance between the State and the Church, according to which the vandals were right to destroy an exhibition that challenges or even blasphemes sacred religious symbols. The text is accompanied by fragments from the criminal action and surveys that incriminate the organizers.
