Summary/Abstract: For a people that has not benefited from the Enlightenment’s ideas, freedom means anarchy and violence – an 18th century idea that the author cites in order to discuss the new strategy of the Russian state – through its representatives – to divert the people’s attention from the serious problems of the country.
