Summary/Abstract: Analysis of social, political and cultural role of journal “Putokaz”, especially in relation to vital Bosniak issues in the period of overall stagnation prior to WWII. This study synthetically presents basic guidelines, ideas, intentions and achievements of intellectuals gathered around "Putokaz". One of the reference points of the analysis is the study by Kasim Suljević: “Putokaz - glasilo revolucionarne orijentacije” / “Putokaz - an organ of revolutionary orientation.”
