Summary/Abstract: The article presents a genological criticism on the example of the Polish nationalist poetry of the thirties. The author, on the basis of journalism and poems, shows the geneological reflection as a variant of an ideological discourse of the radical right wing, a position of lyric and epic, as political constructors. Poets of this trend describe a poetry as an equivalent of a democratic “style of thinking", while lyricism (e.g. a distinctive loneliness of a person) is understood as one of the attitudes of a democratic style of thinking, which is criticized and opposed. Positive response to the democratic lyrics is the “Polish nationalist poetry", according to them − authentic and real − showing the whole potential of a national word − the ideal language, in which the right−wing totalitarianism − was to terminate the national points of the totalitarian discourse and the Polish pre−war nationalism (the myth of the Great Poland, the imperialism, the exclusion of strangers and enemies of the nation). The text shows how the totalitarian ideology, hitting the literary form and by rebuilding the theoretical−existing standards, makes them one more platform of totalitarian propaganda, separating both our and their world, while people are divided into ours and strangers.
