Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the usage of traditional and regional products in the regional marketing, in particular in the region’s promotion, on the example of Lower Silesia Voivodeship. The author presents the nature of these products and their role in the region’s promotion. The analysis concerns food products − products with a long tradition as well as completely new regional products. In the final section there are conclusions of the analysis and recommendations which can be used to improve the region’s promotion.
