Summary/Abstract: It is noted that the use of information technologies by tour operators, travel agents, hotels, transportation companies and other influences on the performance of all other segments of the tourism industry. This allows us to consider tourism as a highly integrated service using the latest information technology in its organization and management. Functionality of popular system in Russia is consideredTURY.ru information, based on which a tourist portal www.TURY.ru (for tourists) and a professional version www.PROFI.tury.ru (for tour operators, travel agencies and host companies), internet resources for hotels and carriers www.turyHOTELs.ru, www.AVIA.tury.ru. The occurrence reasons in tourist industry of new risk - risk of interaction of system « person - computer» are proved.
