Summary/Abstract: In the last twenty years, the human security concept is more often used in political discourse international and national. The connection between the concept of human security and mass-media is a new one approach, especially nationally. Moreover, the approach historically is almost nonexistent. We consider that such a review is appropriate in order to a better understand, timeliness and importance of the subject. To conduct this work, in addition to criminal law, we used information from domains of legal sciences and mass communication. Our field of interest, rather broad information includes: aspects of human security, history of law, constitutional law, human rights, ethics and professional conduct of journalists, areas that can interface to grasp the essential elements for carrying out this work.
