Summary/Abstract: The results of the experimental research of Eastern Lithuanian sub-dialect of Utena plural dative and plural instrumental flexions are examined in the article. Due to the development of phonetic sounds and morphological shortening those forms in the subdialect of Utena have become homonymous, e.g. šakom, didelėm, akim. Only accents could potentially differentiate between them. In the literature there has not been one opinion about accents of those forms till now – in the previous dialectological sources they have been marked unequally. While trying to determine the accent features of those forms, the duration of their flexions diphthongs of the first components o, ė, i, the main tone and intensity have been examined. The results of the research demonstrated that there are no clear accent differences in those forms. The duration difference is a little bit clearer; the parameters of other features vary. It is possible to think that in the sub-dialect of Utena those forms are pronounced more or less equally.
