Determinants of public debt sustainability.

Summary/Abstract: This paper explores the issue of the secure level of public debt. The article begins with the definition of government debt sustainability and solvency, followed by a brief analysis of the impact of public debt on economic growth. The next section addresses the question of government’s ability to service the debt, and the factors influencing its willingness to do so. In the final section, the authors analyse public debt sustainability in Poland.
