Summary/Abstract: Development of the reflective thinking capability of a teacher – postgraduate student during the second level / stage of philosophy studies are analysed. The reflection is approached as a certain process of formation of teacher’s professional activity, teaching conception and position wherein the relation between self identity and theoretical as well as practical statements stipulating the teaching are analysed and assessed. The survey has identified the following most significant views that determine the teacher’s individual teaching concept: perception of educational goals, educational values, attitudes towards teaching and learning. In consideration of different interpretation by postgraduate students of their professional mission and their different outlook, as well as unlike capabilities of using reflection as the means of professional maturation, three levels of creation of educational conception, reflecting the diverse professional potential of postgraduate students and possibilities of its development, have been determined.
