Summary/Abstract: Principal tendencies of forming students’ philological skills who study the Polish Philology at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv are described in the article. Key problems faced by the Ukrainian students in the process of studying the Polish language and literature are pointed out, a list of studied disciplines with the indication of hours and duration of studying is presented.
