Summary/Abstract: The editors intended the first volume of Euro-Facta to be published exclusively in Polish and to contain not more than a hundred pages of articles and research works. However, the interest in the publication has surpassed our wildest expectations and at present the publication includes works written not only in Polish, but also in English and German. The aim of the publication is to promote the research work conducted by the students of the European Studies Institute of the Jagiellonian University. However, apart from publishing the works of the present students, we would also like to present articles written by graduates of the Institute. Each article is followed by a brief summary in either Polish or English, depending on the language of the original.
