Level of poverty and material deprivation of children in the European Union countries

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the level of children poverty and material deprivation in the European Union. Risk and intensity of poverty among children were presented against a background of the society in the European Union countries. Material deprivation among households with children was analyzed. In most European Union countries children are at greater risk of poverty than the overall population.
