Summary/Abstract: More often the priority in professional activity is being given to creativity, problem solving, teamwork, and communication and co-operation skills. In this paper that searchers for answers to these questions, it is aimed to present requirements that the changing worklife specifies for vocational training, and present the influence of related active teaching/learning methods to individual development and the development of general skills. The nature of changes in vocational training is evaluated, the importance of general skills in contemporary professional education is explained and the influence of active teaching/learning (projects) methods for the development of general skills will be discussed.
