Summary/Abstract: The article investigates "direct lover's discourse" - the functioning of the remark "I love you" in Russian literary discourse. The author analyses speech acts types, which are realized by this remark as well as the peculiarities of its use in genderic aspect. The methodology of the research - the conceptions of R. Barthes and V. Volosinov. In reference to Volosinov's classification of "the other's speech", the ways the remark is introduced are defined in the article. In accordance with Barthes, the aims of this remark in the lover's discourse are analyzed.
