Summary/Abstract: This article in an attempt to present the general line of argumentation of some of the arguments of Cicero in his On Nature of Gods concerning the ideas of gods of the three main Hellenistic schools. These are the Stoics, the Epicureans and the Academic Skeptics. In dialogue form, Cicero’ work is a valuable source not only for Greek speculation on the problem, but also for philosophical terms, adapted in Latin. The title of the article refers to arguments said and concealed, given and hidden by the three interlocutors in the course of the dialogue. What is interesting is that some of the ideas are missed and this is by no means deliberately intended. Thus, in the analysis other texts are included in order to provide a true picture on the nature of gods in Hellenistic times.
