Today problems of psychology — on the discus¬sion table

Summary/Abstract: The article briefly presents the information about the major problems con¬cerning the development of contemporary Bulgarian psychology. Psycholo¬gists coming from different fields of professional realization pay attention to the situation in Bulgarian psychology today in a discussion dedicated to the 25 anniversary of the Institute of Psychology in Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The main directions that the discussion touched were — opportunities of psychotherapy in Bulgaria; psychological education in universities; license of practicing psychological activities; personal responsibility of the psychologists — practitioners; problems in professional selection; school problems; etc.
