Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the spatial diversity of linkages of agriculture with the environment by analyzing the production of goods and marketability of production. It shows the evolution of the production allocated to sales and the share of market output in global agriculture. Considerable diversification of commodity production among voivodeships has been noticed. Taking into account the changes in the situation of agriculture after Polish accession to the European Union it can be concluded that variation occurs between the voivodeships and the increase in commercial agricultural production in areas where there are favorable conditions for the development of agriculture. The largest increase in commodity production occurred in Mazowieckie, Łódź and Silesia Voivodeships.
