Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the research was to test theoretical model of delegating decision-making authority on the enterprises from undeveloped markets such as Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBIH). Goal was to investigate frequency of occurrence of delegation of decision-making authority from top management to middle management. For the testing of the empirical model, sample of 135 mid-level managers and top managers from 30 medium size enterprises was taken. Statistical methods of correlation and linear regression were used for the hypothesis testing. Based on the used model, research showed that top managers very rarely or never at all, delegate decision-making authority to middle management. Also, analysis of results established a fact that almost 100% of subject middle and top managers think that mid-level managers need to participate in the decision-making process.
