Summary/Abstract: Entrepreneurship can be defined as a capacity of an individual to transfer ideas to (business) actions. It includes creativity, innovativeness, self-confidence, and risktaing readiness, as well as the knowledge related to start-up and successful leadership of personal business.Entrepreneurship is, no doubt, one of the starters of the economic development and cornerstone of competitiveness of any country. It results with start-up businesses and new employments, therefore contributing to economic development of the country. No doubt, entrepreneurship mentality among young people of all higher education profiles shall be stimulated, in order to initiate their entrepreneurial reflexions. These stimuli will enable them to successfully set up their innovative and entrepreneurial ideas into the realistic and sustainable businesses. By doing that, entrepreneurship education shall expand from the current framework of the faculties of economics and business schools, and following the logic of the Bologna process (mobility of teachers and students, above all) different entrepreneurship education shall be introduced in curriculum of the others faculties too. The main idea of the project “Entrepreneurship in the higher education”, implemented by the European Training Foundation, an agency of the European Union, is promoted in this paper. Bosnia and Herzegovina is involved in the project, through the participation of the University of Sarajevo. The main vision and guiding principle of the project, which is in the final phase of the implementation, is to integrate entrepreneurship education in a larger extent into the work of the higher education institutions. Paper also presents the set of the indicators at the five different levels, which support higher education institutions to introduce incrementally, level by level, different types of the education in the field of entrepreneurship.
