Loan funds and credit guarantee funds as instruments of financial support for SME

Summary/Abstract: The article is aimed at presenting the role of financial institutions (with special reference to loan guarantee funds) in supporting the development of SME. Due to changing priorities in supporting entrepreneurship, refundable financial instruments will soon play a crucial role in the development of Polish enterprises. Refundable financial instruments such as e.g. loan guarantee, loan or subsidised loan will be raised on a greater scale and as part of operational programmes implemented and financed from the EU budget during the period 2014-2020.
