Introduction to the Theory of International Relations

Summary/Abstract: This piece is based on the premise that examining international relations without being aware of basic methodological approaches, scientific classification and elementary methods of research does not lead to correct conclusions. These fallacies can range from portraying international relations as a mix of coincidence, chaos and anarchy through creating various schemes which exaggerate one of the aspects of the international arena; eclectically separate individual aspects of a system; stress isolated understanding; and find it impossible to comprise the complexity and width of the subject.
