Summary/Abstract: The investigations conducted at Pergam- Kestel Çayı cast light on a complex of pottery workshops dated to the 3rd century B.C. – 1st century A.D., producing mainly fine Eastern Sigillata pottery. The finds in this site contribute to the clarification of important aspects regarding the emergence of mass pottery production in the Hellenistic era.
