Summary/Abstract: The recent archaeological research in the area of private buildings in Southeast Histrias fortress, dating from Roman-Byzantine time, revealed the structural and functional unit of the whole urban. The topographical, archaeological and historical arguments allowed confirmation of the hypothesis that this complex actually located near the Basilica Episcopal city of residence will be served as episkopion in the VI century century AD.
