Control and supervision system in local government

Summary/Abstract: From the point of view of a citizen, the local government implements a number of important public duties. The correctness of the functioning of this sector is an important issue for the local governmental community. In order to detect defects and deviations in the activities of local government, and to overcome irregularities, there are introduced control and surveillance measures that actively influence the management function. Effective monitoring and strong control is a matter not only of good governance but also of actions that protect the interests of residents of the local or regional community, called beneficiaries of public funds.
