Summary/Abstract: The author of the article focuses this time on Sorana Gurian, another writer who succeeded to publish within the short period between 1945-1948 before the “Cultural Revolution” imposed by the communist regime eclipsed the entire cultural life in Romania. Her novel “Zilele nu se intorc niciodata” analyzed here stand for her genuine talent. “Ochiurile Retelei” a literary diary covering the interval between 1947-1949 writing published in France is a valuable document of a still obscure moment in the Romanian history.
