WORK TIMA AND ITS STRUCTURE - THEORETICAL AND LEGAL ISSUES

Summary/Abstract: Under the provisions of art. 111, Law No. 53 of 2003 amended and republished, the Labour Code, working time is any period during which the employee performs work, is the employer's disposal and its tasks and powers, according to the individual employment contract, applicable collective agreement and/or legislation. In case of working time, we talk about three different sizes: duration, structure and distribution. These three dimensions constitute the profile of working time. Its changes may occur in one or more dimensions.
