MASQUERADE AND BIG MARCH OF FOOLS (SEVERAL MOTIVIC INSTRUMENTS FOR CONTRAFACTUALIZATION AND RELATIVIZATION OF THE HISTORY IN CZECH POST-MODERN PROSE)

Summary/Abstract: The report states that Czech post-modern prose concerning historical events tends to explicit fictionality. It can be explained partly by common literary-aesthetical reality of the times after the Velvet Revolution, partly by uniqueness of post-modern poetics and its relation to the historical projects and storylines. It its centre, the text attempts to overview the most typical motivic devices of fictionalization and relativization of the history.
