Summary/Abstract: The contribution analyzes the principle of mystification in the phenomenon of Jára Cimrman and emphasizes the birth and beginnings of „cimrmanism“ in Nealkoholická Vinárna U Pavouka. Mystification in the real sense of the word pertains Jára Cimrman only in the very early stage of cimrmanism, or rather before the phenomenon came to existence. Nealkoholická Vinárna U Pavouka (Non-Alcoholic Wine Cellar „The Spider“), a humoristic and musical programme broadcasted between 1965 and 1969 as production of the army section of Czechoslovak Radio, was truly mystifying. Throughout the years, the programme was produced by the same team consisting of authors and „acting“ editors (Jiří Šebánek and Zdeněk Svěrák), a director (Helena Philippová) and a musical dramaturgist (Ivan Štědrý).
